Matthew McConaughey Is the Voice of Elvis Presley in New Netflix Cartoon 'Agent Elvis'

The Elvis renaissance continues

Because there's apparently no limit to our appetite for Elvis content, Matthew McConaughey is joining the ranks of Austin Butler and Jacob Elordi by voicing Elvis Presley in Agent Elvis, a new animated series that's coming to Netflix.

Mercifully, this one isn't another biopic about the rock 'n roll legend, instead following him through fictitious adventures as a secret agent. Agent Elvis was executive produced by Priscilla Presley, while Archer's Mike Arnold is its head writer and showrunner.

Agent Elvis is the second tribute to Presley in less than a year, following Baz Luhrmann's Elvis. The film nabbed Oscar noms for Best Picture, Best Production Design, Best Cinematography, and Best Actor for Austin Butler and his now-permanent Elvis accent. Sophia Coppola's Priscilla, which is based on Priscilla Presley's 1985 memoir Elvis and Me, recently wrapped filming.

Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla, died unexpectedly at age 54 in January.

See a teaser trailer for Agent Elvis below, which features Matthew McConaughey sounding very much like Matthew McConaughey.
