Matthew McConaughey stepped into an unexpected role on Sunday night (April 5), serving as the bingo caller at an assisted living community in Round Rock, TX.
Residents of the home, called the Enclave, are currently in isolation due to the coronavirus, so McConaughey hosted the game via Zoom.
As seen on the video feed, McConaughey was joined by his own isolation crew of his mother, wife and kids.
As prizes for winning a round, residents were given the opportunity to ask the actor questions.
"This was a wish come true! The residents absolutely loved seeing Matthew and his family and enjoyed hearing him talk about what he's doing to get through this crisis," the facility's sales director told local TV station KEYE-TV. "It gave them hope and was the boost that they needed to get through this lonely, challenging time."
