Though they've been mostly inactive for a few years, there was much renewed interest for Ben Cook's power-pop glamsters Marvelous Darlings when Deranged Records released their fantastic compilation Single Life last year. Now, the group have announced a return show in Toronto.
The Darlings will reunite to perform at Sneaky Dee's in Toronto on January 26, headlining the album release for Actual Water (whose Unfamiliar debut, The Paisley Orchard, is dropping on January 24). The show will be $8 at the door.
It's not the greatest news for the rest of Canada, but here's hoping a little bit of Fucked Up downtime will encourage Cook to get his Darlings cohorts in the van for some more shows.
