blink-182 singer-bassist Mark Hoppus has confirmed that he has a memoir coming out early next year.
On his Discord server, Hoppus told fans on Sunday (February 11), "mark hoppus memoir early 2025." When someone asked him if he was joking or being serious, Hoppus responded, "serious. first draft is with my editor."
He has been working on the memoir since 2022. He told The Hollywood Reporter at the time, "I'm not that far into it yet but I'm writing a book about my life and experience in Blink and what I've gone through over the past year or so." He described it as "a combo of music memoir meets medical journey." He said at the time that he already had a publisher.
Hoppus certainly has a lot of stories to tell; not only has he been in blink-182 for more than 30 years, but he also beat stage 4 cancer in 2021.
