One of the numerous abuse lawsuits against Marilyn Manson (born Brian Warner) has reached an out-of-court settlement.
Game of Thrones star Esmé Bianco sued the musician for sexual assault and trafficking in April 2021, a couple months after she initially accused him of abuse — a claim she and more than a dozen women have brought forth following Evan Rachel Wood publicly naming Warner as her alleged abuser on Instagram.
Bianco became the first to file a lawsuit against the musician, and went on to co-create the Phoenix Act — which expands the rights of domestic violence survivors — with Wood. Last year, Bianco amended her complaint to allege that Warner had Deftones remove her from their tour visuals.
"Ms. Bianco has agreed to resolve her claims against Brian Warner and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc. in order to move on with her life and career," Bianco's lawyer, Jay Ellwanger, told Rolling Stone.
Warner's attorney, Howard King, told the publication, "Ms. Bianco has agreed to resolve her claims against Brian Warner and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc."
Earlier this month, model Ashley Morgan Smithline's 2021 abuse lawsuit against Warner was dismissed by a California court. Last year, another of Warner's lawsuits, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was dismissed over the statute of limitations.
