Madame Tussauds wax museums have declared that Michael Jackson wax figures will remain on display for the "foreseeable future."
The decision comes after many prominent companies, TV shows, radio networks and artists have severed ties with the late singer, following accusations of child abuse in HBO's documentary Leaving Neverland.
In a statement to TMZ, a rep for the chain of wax museums said: "The figures on display at Madame Tussauds reflect profiles that have had an impact on popular culture and that visitors expect to see. Michael Jackson has been and is currently a feature of Madame Tussauds attractions around the world."
The rep added, "We regularly monitor our choice of figures on display based on external events and visitor feedback. It will be kept on display for the foreseeable future."
In contrast to Madam Tussauds, Louis Vuitton removed Jackson-inspired pieces from its fall/winter line, The Simpsons have removed the episode starring Jackson from re-broadcast, Drake has stopped playing his Jackson-featuring song on tour and a number of Quebec radio stations have banned Jackson's music.
