Australian duo Luluc released their Aaron Dessner-produced album Passerby back in the summer via Sub Pop, and now they're continuing to promote it with a video for "Tangled Heart."
The clip, directed by Jarod Taber, mirrors the song's low-key atmosphere and its New York-themed lyrics. It shows grainy, vintage-looking black-and-white footage of the Big Apple, which appears within the silhouettes of band members Zoë Randell and Steve Hassett. They also perform an intertwining dance with their hands as the song swells with horns, and some colour gets interjected into the footage when the drums enter in the final passage.
