UK pop brat Lily Allen has paired up with British rapper and Drake collaborator Giggs for a new track called "Trigger Bang."
The track hears Allen opening up about her past struggles with addiction and the cocaine-fuelled whirlwind of fame —explaining that she can't "hang with the cool gang" because of the triggering environment it creates.
It marks her first single since the release of her last album, 2014's Sheezus.
In addition to offering up new music, the singer is also working on a memoir that is due out in fall 2018. In the as-yet-untitled book, Allen writes candidly about the grief of losing a child, fame, growing up on Britpop, youthful rebellion, substance abuse, eating disorders, marriage, separation, motherhood and "moving forward with her life."
