Always one to change his mind, Liam Gallagher seems to have also had his dreams of an Oasis reunion squashed. So much so, that he's in a bit of a mard with Ride's Andy Bell for bringing it up.

The latest in Oasis reunion speculations got shut down late last year after Liam said Noel Gallagher refused to join him on his Definitely Maybe anniversary tour. This came after Liam speculated Oasis might make a comeback himself, before on-and-off feuding with Noel derailed that train.

With all of that in mind, Bell told Virgin Radio UK that the reunion will probably happen — if not now, then someday: "I'm gonna say a qualified yeah, I think they will at the end of the day. I don't think it looks likely right now but I think life is long, innit?"

Bell is perhaps more qualified than some to speak on the matter, considering he was in Oasis from 1999 until their breakup. He was also in Beady Eye with Liam until they disbanded in 2014. None of this matters to Liam, who called Bell out using his favourite method, Twitter X.

"Andy bell from ride the shoe gazing phenomenon should really not be getting people's hopes up it's not big and and it's not clever LG x [sic]," Liam tweeted. After a fan pointed out that Bell was parroting his own words, Liam retorted, "I've never mentioned oasis reunion it's over we must all really move in for our own mental health [sic]."

Oh well, maybe the Oasis reunion just needs a little more time to wake up.
