Montreal-based Kandle has just shared her new single "St. Paul's," along with an accompanying music video by Jeffrey Mitchell. The track is her second of the year from her upcoming album, slated for release in 2024.
According to a press release, Kandle explores conversations of death, delving into "the depths of a confused mind spiked by grief and anxiety and distorted by a steady drip of morphine," in the haunting, hazy, dark new track. She uses this song to speak to those who have ever felt abandoned or unacknowledged by the healthcare system.
"There are millions of women around the world facing issues such as endometriosis, widely ignored or misdiagnosed. This song is dedicated to all those who feel betrayed by their own bodies," says Kandle in a press release.
