Kandle Osborne and her father, 54-40's Neil Osborne, have collaborated frequently over the years. They've now officially formed their own band: A Family Curse will release a self-titled album on July 27, and they've shared the new single "Cemetery Blues."

The band began as a collaboration between Neil and songwriter Danny Michel, who assembled some instrumental song ideas and then passed them along to Kandle for her to sing on. After Kandle added melodies and lyrics, she and Neil recorded the whole album by themselves at home.

Kandle describes the band's sound like this: "Diving into a fantasy world of Americana and fuzz-driven blues rock, this father daughter duo take you on a journey from robbing banks to getting stranded in the desert and catching fire!"

Below, watch a video for "Cemetery Blues" directed by Neil. A Family Curse's tour dates are below that.
