Kamelot

One Cold Winter's Night

BY Laura Wiebe TaylorPublished Feb 16, 2007

With two discs — a full concert, promo videos, interviews and background miscellanea — One Cold Winter’s Night is a value-packed treat for the Kamelot fan that might also win over some new converts. The concert is a high-production, capturing the larger-than-life stage presentation and a sea of arm-waving fans. The sound is a little hollow but the performance is tight and powerful, right down to the parade of guest performers. It’s no visual wonder but is definitely easy on the eyes. Be sure not to miss "March of Mephisto,” both the live version with Snowy Shaw and the uncut video featuring Shagrath from Dimmu Borgir. (SPV/Fusion III)
