John MacLean, mastermind of the electronic dance project the Juan Maclean, is hard at work on the proper follow-up to 2008's The Future Will Come LP. Prior to that, he's let loose a split single with labelmates Shit Robot.
The Juan Maclean song is a bouncy slab of '90s house with some retrofuturistic synths thrown in for good measure. It's also graced with vocals from LCD Soundsystem cohort and Juan Maclean regular Nancy Whang, who adds some stoic singing to the song.
