Joy Formidable Schedule 'Wolf's Law' LP, Announce North American Dates

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 27, 2012

Late last month, Welsh alt-pop outfit the Joy Formidable collected a number of caustic, nature-indebted scenes in the moody black and white video for new number "Wolf's Law," which teased the band's upcoming album. The record has now also been titled Wolf's Law, and it's set to drop sometime next January via Atlantic.

While a tracklisting has yet to pop up for the follow-up to last year's The Big Roar, the band have announced a number of dates this fall that will help preview the platter. Over in the UK, they'll tackle a number of opening spots for Muse, but they'll cross the pond by November to play a handful of North American headlining gigs. Included in that stretch is one Canadian show at Toronto's Sound Academy on November 25. You can check the full itinerary down below.

Additionally, the band recently revealed another album track, "Cholla," in another mostly monochromatic video clip. This time around, though, the band are featured heavily, with performance shots of the troupe mixed with shots of a cloudy skies and island scenes. You can also check that out at the bottom of the page.
