Last year, Canadian music industry figure Jon Box sadly passed away. Now in honour of the late Universal Music Canada family member, an all-ages Toronto benefit concert and celebration of life will be held in his honour, and it will feature some of Canada's finest.

The show will take place on February 8 at the Opera House, and it will include performances by Sloan, the Dirty Nil, Whitehorse, Terra Lightfoot and more yet-to-be-announced artists.

All net proceeds will benefit the Unison Benevolent Fund, a non-profit that provides counselling and emergency relief services to the Canadian music community, and Dr Jay Children's Grief Centre, which provides counselling and support to children overcoming loss.

Right now, you can buy tickets here.

As previously reported, Jon Box — who worked in the Canadian music industry for over two decades — died at the age of 45 following a battle with mental illness.
