Jamie Lidell hasn't released an album since his self-titled effort in early 2013, but now the British soul singer has announced a new track called "Believe in Me."
The song sets Lidell's impassioned R&B vocals atop an icy electro-soul backdrop of plunking synth chords and computerized handclaps. The arrangement gets a little more dramatic and ornate over the course of its four-minute runtime, but it nevertheless remains a stark, low-key ballad.
There's no indication if this song is part of a larger project, or if it will remain a standalone.
This comes a couple of weeks after Big Data released a single featuring Lidell on vocals.
