Hudson Mohawke has announced his third studio album. The Glaswegian producer will deliver Cry Sugar on August 12 via Warp.

Marking Mohawke's first album since 2015's LanternCry Sugar is said to have been inspired by "apocalyptic film scores and soundtracks" from the likes of John Williams and the late Vangelis.

The producer has offered a window into what his latest sounds like with the "Cry Sugar (Megamix)," found below with an accompanying visualizer directed by kingcon2k11, alongside the hyperactive, house-leaning "Bicstan."

You're also encouraged to get an eyeful of Cry Sugar's album art (seen above) from Willehad Eilers/Wayne Horse, featuring the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters mowing down a burger, wearing a thong bedazzled with "OMW2FYB" — we'll let you Google that one.

Cry Sugar is now available for pre-order.
