Hudson Mohawke has announced his third studio album. The Glaswegian producer will deliver Cry Sugar on August 12 via Warp.
Marking Mohawke's first album since 2015's Lantern, Cry Sugar is said to have been inspired by "apocalyptic film scores and soundtracks" from the likes of John Williams and the late Vangelis.
The producer has offered a window into what his latest sounds like with the "Cry Sugar (Megamix)," found below with an accompanying visualizer directed by kingcon2k11, alongside the hyperactive, house-leaning "Bicstan."
