After recently detailing the new album The Hurt of Happiness, Hey Ocean! have shared its title track and set a release date for the record.
The full-length will arrive as an independent release on April 6, marking the Canadian group's first LP since 2012's IS. To go along with that release date reveal, Hey Ocean! have also shared the song "The Hurt of Happiness," which you can stream below.
As previously reported, the record is said to bridge the gap between "the carefree experimentation of 2008's It's Easier to Be Somebody Else and the slick pop production and songwriting of 2012's IS."
Hey Ocean! also have a few upcoming tour dates, which you can also check out below.
You can pre-order the new album here.
Tour dates:
04/05 Banff, AB - Wild Bill's
04/06 Grande Prairie, AB - Better Than Fred's
04/07 Prince George, BC - Artspace
