It's official! After hinting at its return with a few "save the dates" posts, and then planning for "possibly some sort of event" from July 16 to 17, River & Sky music festival is now confirmed for an in-person event this summer in Field, ON.

Announced today, this year's lineup will include Haviah Mighty, Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs, Helena Deland, the OBGMs, Witch Prophet, Kiwi Jr., Spencer Burton, G.R. Gritt, Bryden Gwiss Kiwenzie, Whitney K, Population II, Kristian North, Supertoke, Bon Enfant and Fauxcils.

In order to keep things safe through Ontario's reopening plan, the fest will operate at limited capacity and attendees will be required to have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination.

UPDATE (7/14, 3:00 p.m. ET): Following the provincial advancement into Phase 3 of reopening, River & Sky is able to sell more tickets, which can be purchased here. They've also shared a Health & Safety Agreement outlining the terms and conditions of attending the festival with regards to vaccination status (Ministry of Health verification must be provided upon entry to the festival), COVID-19 screening (all attendees are encouraged to get a PCR test within 72 to 48 hours prior to the start of the event, as showing negative test results at the door allows you to bypass the rapid testing process and guarantee your entry to the festival), PPE requirements (masks must be worn at both stages) and more.

River & Sky have also shared the schedule for Friday (July 16):

So far, ticketing information and further health and safety procedures have not been announced, but organizers anticipate sharing that information in the coming days.

"Keep that patience for just a teeeeeny bit longer!!!!!" they wrote in an announcement.

Meanwhile, the festival is also plotting its first-ever panel series from July 14 to 15, as well as a series of workshops in Sudbury from July 10 to 13. Further details on those events are still forthcoming.
