The Guelph Jazz Festival returns to the Royal City for its 31st edition this September 13 to 15. Today, organizers have announced the full lineup of performers who will be gracing venues across the downtown area.
Curated by interim director Karen Ng, this year's selection of acts include Japanese psych-rockers TEKE::TEKE, hometown heroes/Exclaim! New Faves alumni SHEBAD, and long-running Toronto electronic duo LAL, as well as All Wild Things Are Shy, Luka Kuplowsky & the Ryōkan Band, Matt Brubeck & Caylie Staples, Nick Fraser (with Angelica Sanchez and Tony Malaby), Darius Jones and more.
Ticketed concerts will take place at the Royal City Mission and the Guelph Youth Music Centre, with free shows hosted at TD Market Square, in addition to Germaine Liu and Mark Zurawinski's We Made This (With Love) art installation at Silence.
