Baltimore synthpop outfit Future Islands are back with the second of three remix EPs reworking songs from their As Long As You Are, which arrived last year via 4AD.
The ALAYA Remixes 2 collection is led by a remix of "For Sure" by Washed Out. It also features COMPUTER DATA's version of "Thrill" and Smallboy's "Hit the Coast."
The first ALAYA Remixes featured the Egyptian Lover remix of "Thrill," Moss of Aura's take on "Plastic Beach" and Alle Alle's "The Painter" rework.
Future Islands have announced an extensive tour through the U.S., U.K. and Europe for 2021-2022 with Modest Mouse and Hinds, but they've yet to add any Canadian dates to the schedule.
