Earlier this year, it was revealed that Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham were at work on a collaborative record. Now, the bandmates have lifted the curtain on their collection of duets.
Simply titled Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie, the record will arrive June 9 via Atlantic. The record's first single titled "In My World" will arrive this Friday (April 14).
The two have also planned a tour behind the record, which you can find the dates for below. A lone Canadian stop will see Buckingham and McVie play Toronto's Budweiser Stage on July 5.
As a press release explains, the collaboration began three years ago when the McVie came back to Fleetwood Mac for the "On with the Show" tour.
"We were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically. The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, 'what took us so long?!!'" Buckingham said in a statement.
McVie added, "Working their natural singer songwriter skills together came easily for the duo. We've always written well together, Lindsey and I, and this has just spiraled into something really amazing that we've done between us."
