NOFX are apparently calling it a day. This is according to singer-bassist Fat Mike, who has announced that the band's final tour will be in 2023.

He posted an Instagram video showing him getting a shave in Alaska (see below). In the comments section, a fan asked about the band coming to Canada, to which he responded, "Actually, we love Canada, it's just that next year will be our last year. We will be announcing our final shows soon. It's been an amazing run…"

Someone else asked if the band's upcoming Montreal show on September 16 would be their last one in the city, and Mike responded "nope," so it seems that the band have more Canadian dates to announce for 2023. He further added that NOFX's last-ever show would be in Los Angeles.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of news about the return of Punk in Drublic to Canada. NOFX's music and beer festival will come to Edmonton's Expo Centre on September 3, followed by Abbotsford, BC's Tradex on September 4.

Mike's comments seem to suggest that NOFX will be retiring completely, although it's possible that he means they will simply step back from touring. He has announced plans for three new albums, after all.
