Okay, so he was a little off on the timing — but back in 2022, singer-bassist Fat Mike said NOFX's final tour would take place in 2023. It's actually going to be in 2024 — the band have now revealed the itinerary for their last-ever stint on the road and it includes Canadian stops in Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal next summer.
"We've played over 2,000 shows in 33 countries, in more than 300 cities and darn it… we're a bit tired," Fat Mike said in a statement. "One thing I know in my heart… this is going to be the most emotional, heartbreaking, greatest tour of our career. I've never been so excited and at the same time terrified. Mostly excited…"
The world tour is billed as "40 Years, 40 Cities, 40 Songs Per Day," and kicks off in Australia in January. Canadian dates come along in August, with the band set to play back-to-back shows at the Fan Park at Edmonton's Ice District on August 10 and 11, a yet-to-be-determined venue in Toronto on August 17 and 18, and Montreal's Parc Olympique on August 23 and 24.
NOFX will then go on to wrap up their live performance career with a trio of hometown shows in Los Angeles, playing Berth 46 from October 4 to 6. Additionally, the majority of their final dates include an early-day craft beer and beverage tasting.
Tickets go on sale Monday (November 20) at 10 a.m. PT via punkindrublic.com. Find the punks' final tour schedule below.
