Influential British band Echo & the Bunnymen have announced a North American tour, which they have given the very long title of Songs to Learn and Sing 2024: The Very Best of Echo & the Bunnymen. Slated for next spring, it's set to include a couple of Canadian shows in Toronto and Vancouver.
Frontman Ian McCulloch described the stint as a "continuation of the U.K. tour we did in February/March of this year which was my favourite ever tour." He continued, "Talking to fans and friends after shows and reading loads of brilliant comments from Bunnymen and Bunnywomen, all saying pretty much what I was feeling… that some new magical ingredient had been added to the starlight and the moonbeams and the angels and the devils that live inside the songs."
Kicking off on May 7 in Austin, TX, the Bunnymen will make their way to Canada just shy of the tour's halfway mark to play Toronto's History on May 23, returning across the border again on June 4 to perform at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom. They are currently scheduled to finish the run in Rancho Mirage, CA, on June 14.
