This is a collection of various seven-inch singles that DJs Jeremy Novak and Claudia Newell have magnificently crafted over the last few years. They make music that is too eclectic to pinpoint verbally, other than that it is the most imaginative and mind-expanding collage of sounds this side of Tokyo. The texture alone is something to be reckoned with: dried up lo-fi steel gauze that is scratched over 16 mm prints of '60s/'70s television show music, all creepy and sinister-like, akin to a hallucinogenic funk remix of "The Nutcracker Suite." This is insanely excellent stuff and recommended for those who want to attempt taking the art of reconstruction and composition to the next level.
