Though he can already count Rihanna as one of his high-profile supporters, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh is set to receive a boost closer to home from OVO sonic architect Noah "40" Shebib.

The Drake producer will join Singh onstage at the party leader's "momentum rally" tonight in Brampton, ON.

Prepared remarks provided to the Toronto Star find Shebib calling Singh "an inspirational leader" who "lives by his values and that's what you've seen this election, a commitment to people over money and prioritizing the health and well-being of our nation as we know it."

Shebib had previously shown support for Singh in an Instagram post last week, sharing a photo of the NDP leader and encouraging his Canadian followers to cast a ballot on October 21.

The "momentum rally" in the Brampton East riding, where Singh began his political career, will also feature professional wrestler Jinder Mahal, actor Kiran Rai (a.k.a. Kay Ray) and Toronto MC Fateh.

Further details on the event can be found here.
