Dominic Fike has announced that his sophomore album Sunburn will arrive on July 7 via Columbia Records.
Fike will punctuate the album's announcement by sharing "Ant Pile" on May 26 after teasing it with a performance at Coachella. The new track will join lead single "Dancing in the Courthouse" in previewing the project.
The Florida native returned to his home state to record Sunburn, where he teamed up with the producer of his debut album, Jim E-Stack, and tasked Henry Kwapis and Devon Workman to lay down bass and drums, respectively.
A press release notes that the album is autobiographical, and Fike will tell his story over the course of the 14-song project.
Sunburn is available for pre-order here ahead of its release on streaming platforms and CD, which comes with a poster, and vinyl, which comes with a booklet. There will also be an exclusive CD edition with a 60-page photo book as well as deluxe and colour vinyl editions.
