Disclosure

"Holding On" (ft. Gregory Porter)

Though Disclosure still haven't, well, disclosed the full details behind their sophomore full-length, the brotherly duo of Howard and Guy Lawrence may not be keeping us waiting in the wings that much longer. Just today (May 26), they unveiled the upcoming album's first official single, "Holding On."

Like their recent "Bang That" track, the new single was premiered on BBC DJ Annie Mac's radio program. It likewise follows a danceable template of four-on-the-floor house rhythms, twilight-dusted keyboard textures, and woozily wobbled synth tones. This time around, they've got jazz singer Gregory Porter on the mike, who fills the song with butter-smooth lines about the past, present, and future of a particular relationship. Judging by the tone of the track he'll keep holding on to what he's got, at least for a little bit longer.

You'll find Disclosure's new house-flavoured number down below. An ETA for the outfit's as-yet-unnamed follow-up to 2013's Settle has yet to be revealed.
