The time has finally come: Manhattan post-punk outfit cumgirl8 have announced their hotly anticipated debut album, previewed by lead single and opening track "Karma Police." (No, it's not a Radiohead cover. Nerd!)
Following the band's slurry of EPs, the 8th cumming arrives October 4 via 4AD. If its lead track is any indication, we're in for a wild ride from post-punk through electro-sleaze and back again.
After a filtered robotic voice monologues and concludes, "We are the future cunt," the song speeds off with jumpy synths, smudge-y guitars and sporadic bleep-bloops. Watch cumgirl8's self-directed "Karma Police" video below, where you'll also find the album tracklist.
