The Tragically Hip will premiere their career-spanning docuseries this week at the Toronto International Film Festival, and to mark the occasion, local vocal ensemble Choir! Choir! Choir! will lead a Hip-themed singalong in the streets of Toronto.
The event takes place on September 5 — the first day of TIFF, as well as the day No Dress Rehearsal premieres. The crowd will gather at the Amazon Music Bus on John Street (between King Street and Wellington Street) starting at roughly 5 p.m.
The free event is first come, first served. Lyric sheets will be distributed to the crowd.
This isn't the first time Choir! Choir! Choir! have led a Tragically Hip singalong in downtown Toronto. Back in 2017, soon after singer Gord Downie's death, they staged a similar event.
