Burlington, ON's long-running Sound of Music Festival has brought a great deal of fun with its decades of music and other festivities. This year, the free event will celebrate its 32nd edition with a massive lineup that includes a little bit of something for everyone.
Among the notable acts playing the 2011 Sound of Music are Devo, Men Without Hats, Yukon Blonde, Paper Lions, Hollerado, Tokyo Police Club, the Wooden Sky, the Sadies and the Creepshow. Of course, there are many other artists listed right here, including the Nylons and a classical performer who happens to have the name James Brown.
The 2011 Sound of Music Festival will run from June 16 to 19. In addition to the performers, the Sound of Music Festival will include a grande festival parade with more than 20 marching bands, along with a downtown street festival and carnival.
