A Tribute to the Legends of Reggae offers exactly what the name promises: a month-long celebration of classic reggae music, produced by the House of KUUMBA and powered by TD Canada with support from Universal Music Canada. The 2021 edition honours Bob Marley and runs throughout February (which is, of course, Black History Month).

The event is hosted by former MuchMusic VJ Master T, with performers including Ziggy Marley, Exco Levi & High Priest, Jay Douglas, Kirk Diamond, the Recipee Band, Kim Kelly, Hardcore Band, and Chelsea Stewart.

New performances and Q&As air every Friday in February at noon EST — meaning that there are already two weeks' worth of performances streaming, including covers of "Get Up, Stand Up," "Sun Is Shining," "Waiting in Vain" and much more.

In a statement, Jesse Jones of Jones & Jones Group explained, "The Legends tribute has always been a hallmark affair for our company, but it goes without saying that this year, in particular, it is imperative that we shine a bright light on the people, like Bob Marley, like my mother Denise Jones, and so many others, who laid the foundation for the global distinction bestowed upon our rich, dynamic heritage. Those who went before us to pave the way, but are no longer amongst us, must never be forgotten."

Catch up on the performances so far in the YouTube playlists below. New performances will drop each Friday at TributeToTheLegendsOfReggae.com.
