Britpop icons Blur have announced their first show together in 8 years — the band will be reuniting at London's Wembley Stadium on July 8, 2023. The last time all four members played together was in 2015 in support of The Magic Whip.
"We really love playing these songs and thought it's about time we did it again," Damon Albarn said in a statement. Graham Coxon added, "I'm really looking forward to playing with my Blur brothers again and revisiting all those great songs. Blur live shows are always amazing for me. A nice guitar and an amp turned right up and loads of smiling faces."
Jockstrap, slowthai and Self Esteem are listed as special guests, and tickets go on sale this Friday, November 18.
Back in August, it was rumoured that Blur would be reuniting in celebration of Parklife's 30th anniversary, which would fall in April 2024. Seems like they've decided to jump the gun a bit and celebrate a year early.
