Beyoncé has announced a new album. Act II will be out March 29, and the singles "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" and "16 CARRIAGES" are out now.
Beyoncé announced the album with an ad during the Super Bowl (which she attended). It's unclear if the album is called Renaissance: Act II, or if it's simply Act II.
Based on the sound of both singles and the aesthetic of the ad, Act II seems to be a country-tinged project — a distinct departure from the clubby disco sound of the first Renaissance album.
