Rap vets Atmosphere recently announced "The Wherever Tour – North America," and it turns out the 2020 trek is in support of an entirely new studio album. Logically titled Whenever, the duo's album is actually out now, and you can already hear it for yourself.
Down below, you can stream Whenever, which just hit streaming services via Rhymesayers. The album marks Atmosphere's first album since 2018's Mi Vida Local.
A press release states the following of the new album:
These aren't dad-raps, these aren't anti-establishment-raps, and these aren't chasing-old-fire-raps. Even at its darkest, Whenever houses blessed-to-be-alive-raps. The album breathes in the way only Slug and Ant could summon a collective breath. On Whenever, the duo inhale panic and exhale greatness.
Alongside Atmosphere's Slug and Ant, guests on Whenever include Murs, Musab, Nikki Jean, Gifted Gab, Muja Messiah and Haphduzn.
In addition to the newly released album, Atmosphere have give the Nikki Jean-featuring "Lovely" its own video. You can watch that at the bottom of the page.
