Alexisonfire have been gradually plotting out tour dates in support of their forthcoming fifth studio album Otherness, and have so far yet to announce any major appearances in Toronto. Today, they've ended that streak with plans to play the city later this month.

The show will take place at Toronto's new east-end venue History on April 27. They'll be supported by fellow Ontario alt scene staple Chastity (a.k.a Brandon Williams, who recently collaborated with Dallas Green on his own album, Suffer Summer).

What's more: the vaccine-mandatory, 19+ show will be absolutely free. According to Dine Alone Records' announcement, a limited batch of tickets will be issued at a maximum of two per person on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket booking opens up this Friday (April 15) at 10 a.m. ET.

If you don't manage to nab tickets to the free show, Alexisonfire have mapped out a few other tour dates in Canada this year, including a two-night run at Montreal's MTELUS in July, as well as their own Born & Raised Concert Series, taking place in St. Catharines in late June.

Chastity also has multiple tour dates scheduled across the country this year. Check those dates out here
