Air Launch Vinyl Reissue Campaign, Expand 'Virgin Suicides'

Air's "Playground Love" single was only just reissued as part of Record Store Day, but there's a whole lot more vinyl than we first thought heading our way from the French duo. The long-running group's discography is being reissued on June 16 through Warner/Parlophone, while their soundtrack for The Virgin Suicides will receive a deluxe, expanded edition for its 15th anniversary.

This campaign is limited to albums from 2007 and earlier. It includes 180-gram vinyl versions of Premiers Symptômes (1997), Moon Safari (1998), 10,000 Hz Legend (2001), Talkie Walkie (2004) and Pocket Symphony (2007). Missing from the campaign are Love 2 (2009) and Le voyage dans la lune (2012).

As for The Virgin Suicides - 15th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, it will be available in a couple different formats. The most lavish of these is the "Limited Edition Super Deluxe" set, which comes with two LPs on coloured vinyl, two CDs, 7-inch, 16-page booklet, film poster and VIP laminate pass. There will also be a stand-alone two-CD set. These expanded editions include studio outtakes, an unreleased live performance from 2000 and in-studio tracks from a live KCRW radio session.

The original soundtrack will also arrive on a standard single LP, while the other reissues apparently come minus any added material.
