The year 2018 came and went with no sign of Stranger Things Season 3, but Netflix has assured us that 2019 will not meet the same fate. The streaming giant rang in the new year by announcing that Stranger Things Season 3 will arrive on July 4, 2019.
The announcement came in the form of a brief teaser, interspersing footage from a 1985 New Year's special with cryptic transmissions by way of a creepy computer display.
Alongside the video, Netflix has released a new teaser image, as seen above. It displays all of the young protagonists, including a hand-holding Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) and Eleven (Millie Bobbie Brown) and Season 2's new addition Max (Sadie Sink), observing a fireworks display while a mysterious creature lurks in the background.
