Retired NASCAR Driver Buys Will Ferrell's 'Talladega Nights' Mansion

If you ain't first, you're last

Retired NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick has fulfilled his Ricky Bobby destiny by crossing the anger bridge and landing on friendship shore of his fictional counterpart's mansion, as shown in Adam McKay's 2006 classic, Talladega Nights.

Harvick, who raced professionally for over 20 years before calling it quits in 2023, bought the Lake Norman, NC, estate for $6.75 million USD this week after the house — initially listed at $8.4 million — had been on the market for several months.

The 12,000 square-foot, six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home is featured heavily in Talladega Nights, which follows Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly's Ricky Bobby and Cal Naughton through their hillbilly racing escapades.

Since its release, Ferrell and Reilly have collaborated on several films, good and bad (and really bad), including Step Brothers, Anchorman 2 and Holmes & Watson

Check out a virtual tour of their mansion from Talladega Nights, now owned by Harvick.
