Disney+'s charming crime comedy Only Murders in the Building was one of Exclaim!'s favourite shows of 2021, and now it's coming back for another season. Season 2 premieres on June 28.
As fans knows, Season 1 featured the trio of Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) starting a true-crime podcast in order to solve a murder in their New York apartment building. Season 2 pushes that concept further, as competing podcasters begin investigating the protagonists after they are implicated in a separate murder (that of the board president of their apartment building, the Arconia). Presumably, this means our heroes will have to solve the crime in order to exonerate themselves.
A brief announcement video for the season is below. It's not a trailer, however.
Only Murders in the Building, which appears under Disney+'s Star banner, is written and co-created by Martin and John Hoffman. They both serve as executive producers, along with Gomez, Short, Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal.
