While some lovable movie stars have suffered from annoying overexposure (*cough* Bill Murray *cough*), Jeff Goldblum continuously wins us over with his insistent charm. The actor has just completed a lengthy Entertainment Weekly interview that, quite frankly, is packed with quotable nuggets.
Most notably, Goldblum discussed working with Taika Waititi in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok. Coming to the project as a fan of Waititi's work in Flight of the Conchords, Hunt for the Wilderpeople and What We Do in the Shadows, Goldblum said that Waititi encouraged him to improvise in the superhero film.
As a result, the actor gave the director his ultimate seal of approval. As he put it in EW, "He's great. Taika Waititi gets 10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums."
Similarly, Goldblum utilized some wonderful turns of phrase when he talked about his forthcoming appearance in Jurassic World 2.
"Off I go in a few weeks to London, where they've been hard at work, and I'll try to contribute something to the plate of dino-entertainment," he said. "I like my character. I think my character is a saucy, sassy man of some integrity and deep thinking. And of course, that whole world continues to be popular, slam-bang, top entertainment."
