Saturday Night Live has replaced this week's musical guest after the originally scheduled country music star, Morgan Wallen, was booted for not following COVID-19 protocols. In his place, White Stripes mastermind Jack White will perform tomorrow night (October 10).
White will be joined by host, Bill Burr, live from Studio 8H for his fourth appearance on the show. The artist's appearance comes at a perfect time, just following the announcement that the White Stripes are set to release their Greatest Hits album.
Wallen's ousting came after a series of videos — showing him partying unmasked and making out with random strangers — surfaced online. Despite the bad news for Wallen, he did say SNL producer Lorne Michaels said he could appear on the show on a future date. The musician has since apologized for his actions.
White last appeared on SNL back in 2018.
