Just over two years on from its announcement, Kid Cudi's forthcoming Netflix series Entergalactic has received its first teaser.

On Instagram today, the Man on the Moon shared the colourful street scene you can find below, which slowly pans up to reveal the series' title. In the caption, Cudi revealed that music for the forthcoming series will come from frequent collaborators Dot da Genius and Plain Pat.

Entergalactic's teaser also confirms the involvement of Black-ish creator Kenya Barris as producer, while firming up an expected release in 2022.

The show's 2019 announcement positioned Entergalactic as an "adult-focused animated music series" that "follows a young man on his journey to discover love." It was also reported that the show shared a title with a forthcoming album from Cudi, with included music also appearing in the series.

Cudi's debut full-length album, 2009's Man on the Moon: The End of Day, featured a song titled "Enter Galactic (Love Connection Part I)."

Last year, it was reported that Barris would write, direct and produce a Richard Pryor biopic.

This December, Kid Cudi will appear in Netflix film Don't Look Up. His most recent album remains last year's Man on the Moon III: The Chosen.
