A new month brings a new, exciting lineup of uncut and commercial-free programming on independent, Canadian-owned network Hollywood Suite.
There are two new collections available on-demand and across Hollywood Suite's four channels for November 2021: Lest We Forget, in honour of Remembrance Day, and Famous Families, featuring the dynasties that rule Hollywood.
The network will air favourites like Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg's goofy, mismatched-partnership comedy The Other Guys and the dark humour of The 'Burbs for the first time, as well as hosting Canadian broadcast premieres for No Roses on a Sailor's Grave, Robbery and The Corruption of Divine Providence — the 2020 supernatural horror that sees a teenage girl from a small Métis community showing signs of stigmata.
Also not to be missed is Hollywood Suite's Norman Jewison Weekend, which will feature films by the iconic Canadian director twice daily for three days on November 19, 20 and 21.
The six Jewison classics will air chronologically, beginning with '70s Cold War comedy The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming and crime drama In the Heat of the Night, followed by Best Friends (Burt Reynolds, Goldie Hawn), WWII murder mystery A Soldier's Story and Oscar-winning romantic comedy Moonstruck — starring Cher and Nicolas Cage — from the '80s before capping off with '90s romance feature Only You (Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., Bonnie Hunt).
