As previously reported, Saved by the Bell is getting a proper reboot for NBC's new Peacock streaming service. Today, we get our first taste of the show with a new teaser.
The show sees Mario Lopez reprising his role as A.C. Slater and still stuck at Bayside High, albeit now as a gym teacher. In the trailer, he's also joined by Elizabeth Berkley reprising her role as Jessie Spano.
The show will also involve Mark-Paul Gosselaar, a.k.a. Zack Morris, in some capacity, and it's possible that Tiffani Thiessen will also return as Kelly Kapowski.
The show was written by 30 Rock writer and Great News creator Tracey Wigfield, and there are certainly some jokes present in its brief teaser.
