Whether you love it or hate it, the new Saved by the Bell series is coming back for Season 2. Today NBC's Peacock announced it has ordered up another 10-episode season.

"I'm thrilled that Saved by the Bell has been renewed. I've been blown away by all the love for the show and can't wait to go back and make more episodes," said writer and executive producer Tracey Wigfield in a satement. "Hopefully we stay on Peacock for many more seasons, and then in 30 years, somebody does a reboot of our reboot and invents the threeboot."

It shouldn't be too surprising that the show will be back for Season 2. After all, it did become the No. 1 show NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service, despite having some pretty mixed reviews.

The reboot of the '90s teen series saw the return of OG stars Mario Lopez as A.C. Slater, Elizabeth Berkley as Jessie Spano and Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Zack Morris.

Sadly, while Dustin Diamond did not take part in the reboot, the actor best known for playing Screech in the original, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
