Allegations of sexual assault have followed Woody Allen since the early '90s, and while he's maintained an up-and-down career since then — and found defenders throughout Hollywood — the writer and director has not been able to shift the narrative. Up next, the nitty-gritty details will be explored in a new HBO docuseries.
Called Allen v. Farrow, the new four-part series was directed by Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering and will dig deep into the allegations that Allen sexually abused Dylan Farrow, his then 7-year-old daughter with Mia Farrow.
Dick and Ziering previously collaborated on the HBO Max documentary On the Record, which explored allegations of misconduct involving hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons.
Allen v. Farrow will debut on February 21 and will air every Sunday for four weeks. Watch a brief teaser below.
