Hollywood Suite has announced a lineup of chills and thrills for this month's Shocktober programming, with Halloween favourites and horror films that defined the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. Always uncut and free of commercial interruption, the Canadian entertainment network delivers not only classic horror this season, but new original series too.
Leading this month's lineup is Slasher: Flesh & Blood, a nine-part series starring Canadian horror icon David Cronenberg, who plays an elderly family patriarch, pitting his family members against each other in a series of cruel games in competition for his vast estate. The series premieres exclusively on Hollywood Suite on October 4 at 9 p.m. ET, with double episodes airing each Monday.
In addition to this featured series, the Shocktober collection will also feature classics likes Dracula, Friday the 13th, all four Scream movies, The Craft, The Blair Witch Project and many more on-demand.
Shocktober's lineup of 40-plus films join the network's Thrillers and Chillers collection, which includes the 1953 sci-fi/horror classic, It Came from Outer Space, as well as Jonathan Demme's The Silence of the Lambs, 2000s favourites Donnie Darko, Sin City and Let the Right One In, and lots more to choose from.
