Dave Bautista Might Not Return to 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

"To be honest with you, I don't know if I want to work for Disney"

Earlier this year, director James Gunn was fired from the third instalment of Guardians of the Galaxy after a series of offensive tweets were resurfaced by right-wing web sleuths. All of the franchise's stars have petitioned for Gunn to be reinstated, but Dave Bautista in particular has taken the news the hardest.

After previously suggesting he'd quit the franchise if Disney abandoned Gunn's script, Bautista has now said he's considering quitting regardless.

In an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show, Bautista said that the franchise is on hold while Disney scrambles to find a new director. And while the company has promised to use Gunn's script, Bautista still wants to back out.

"They're putting the movie off. It's on hold indefinitely," he said. "To be honest with you, I don't know if I want to work for Disney... I've been very vocal about the way I feel. I'm not afraid to admit the way I feel."
